Everyone has their favorite ABC book. Why not have some fun with a list of ABCs for Social Media?

A is for Ad
, that drives traffic your way,

B is for Blog, which you should do every day.

C is for campaign, towards a marketing goal,

D is for Digg, to share links the world whole.

E is for Engage, without which you’re hollow.

F is for Facebook, Flickr, Foursquare, Friend, and for Follow.


G is for Google+not many are found.H is for Hashtag, words following a #pound.I is for Influencer, people that talk your jive.

J is for i-Justine, one of the cutest girls alive.

L is for Like, another facebook plot.

K is for Klout, whether you like it or not,

M is for Mari, “that rhymes with Ferrari” 

N is for Net Neutrality, just not important – we’re sorry.


O is for Orkut
, big in India and Brazil.

P is for Pinterest a cool place to chill,

Q is for Quora for question and answer.

R is for ROI, in Social Media, it’s like curing cancer.

S is for Skype – why meet people at bars?  

T is for Twitter you get 140 chars.

U is for URL, an address online.

V is for Vimeo, for video that’s more fine.

W is for WordPress, on which this site lays.

X is lame, cause alpha-poems default, x-rays.

Y is for YouTube in a sec there’s 10 hours of flick.

Z is for Zoe, my favorite Radian6 chick.

  1. Great list, Eric! I’m flattered that you included me and Radian6 on it. I wonder if anyone can think of any other social media terms that begin with ‘z’? As for suggestions, Pinterest for P comes to mind. 😉

  2. I have been surfing online more than 3 hours nowadays, yet I never found any attention-grabbing article like yours.

    It’s beautiful value enough for me. In my view, if all site owners and bloggers made excellent content as you did, the net will probably be a lot more helpful than ever before.
